Aquacultured Parrot Polar Blue Convict Hybrid cichild (Archocentrus nigrofasciatus X A. citrinellus)

We are excited to announce that we recently received the Aquacultured Parrot Polar Blue Hybrid cichlid. This one of a kind fish is a cross between the Archocentrus nigrofasciatus and A. citrinellus. It is the perfect fish for anyone interested in collecting an unusual and hardy fish. Take care of it like you would care for other cichlids. Exercise caution when adding to a community tank for it is considered to have an aggressive temperament. Due to its parent lineage it can be expected to grow-up to 5 to 7 inches so make sure its tank is large enough for it to swim. To maintain it in optimal health provide it with a diet varied in frozen and dry foods.
