The Bloody Mary Shrimp is one of the neatest new color morphs available in the Neocaridina species. Their shade of red tends to either fade or darken depending on the brightness of the substrate and color of the aquarium they are housed in. The Bloody Mary Shrimp is peaceful and can live with other Neocaridina color morphs as long as the tank is not overcrowded. They prefer to live in a planted aquarium, especially ones with moss and carpeting plants. They will scavenge the aquarium for food, but to help keep this shrimp healthy supplement their diet with algae wafers.
