Brown Ghost Knifefish

The Brown Ghost Knifefish is a very unusual fish to add to your aquarium. They produce a weak electrical charge to help them locate food in the substrate. Provide an environment with plenty of hiding places for this Knifefish. There are even clear tubes on the market that are specifically made for Knifefish, so they can hide but you can still enjoy watching them. They prefer a more dimly lit aquarium and will spend more time hiding if the aquarium is too bright. Provide a varied diet of freshwater frozen foods and small sinking pellets for their continued health.
