Female Halfmoon Nemo Koi Betta (Betta splendens)

If you love the dazzling color of Koi and other carp but can’t quite muster up the space necessary for their needs, then look no further than the compact female Half-moon Nemo Koi Betta. These make great singular displays but even have a place in community aquaria as they do not display as much aggression as their male counterparts. These are an excellent opportunity to add some flare to your office by setting up a small planted tank as well. General Betta husbandry applies. They prefer tropical level temperatures in comparison to cold water carp, feed relatively sparingly as these are not extremely active fish.
