Fiddler Gold Claw Crab (Uca sp.)

We recently received a batch of Fiddler Gold Claw Crabs. These cute crustaceans are commonly found in sea beaches and brackish inter-tidal mud flats, lagoons and swamps. They will do best in a new aquarium home that recreates their natural environment. This can easily be done by creating a dry beach area for it spend some time out of the water. Furthermore, they are known to be excellent escape artist, so make sure that you also have a tight canopy over the tank.
