Flame Angel

There are several dwarf angelfish available to hobbyists these days, but one of the most beautiful is the Flame Angel. They stand out not only because of their stark coloration, but also their activity level. Unlike many other angels, their juvenile coloration and pattern looks very similar to their adult’s. Their small adult size means they can go into aquariums as small as 45 gallons when they are juveniles but they should be perfectly happy in a 75 gallon tank as they grow. They prefer an aquarium with ample hiding spots to mimic their natural habit and behaviors of hiding.
