Gold Molly (Poecilia sphenops)

We are kicking off 2017 in gold, and by that we mean Gold Molly. These are a great fish for the beginner hobbyist. They are a peaceful fish that can live with tank mates of just about any size as long as the aquarium is large enough and all tank mates are peaceful. If purchasing more than one be aware they are live bearers that will commonly reproduce successfully in your tank, so you may end up with more mollies than you bargained for. For optimal health, provide it a varied diet of dried to pellets that includes vegetation and meaty foods.
