Koi Kohako Wag Swordtail

Koi Kohako Wag Swordtails are livebearers, meaning they give birth to free-swimming fry rather than laying eggs. Males have a gonopodium, a modified anal fin used for mating. If kept in a mixed-sex group, expect Swordtails to breed readily in the aquarium. Provide plenty of floating plants or breeding traps for the pregnant females to give birth safely away from hungry adults.
