The Longfin Aeneus Cory Catfish is a popular and hardy freshwater species, distinguished by its elongated fins and peaceful temperament. These bottom-dwelling fish thrive in community aquariums, where they help clean up uneaten food and debris. They prefer tanks with soft, sandy substrates to protect their sensitive barbels and appreciate planted areas with plenty of hiding spots. Longfin Aeneus Cory Catfish do best in schools of at least six, as they are social fish that enjoy the company of their own kind. They enjoy a diet of Nutramar sinking pellets and occasional Gamma frozen foods such as bloodworms or brine shrimp.
