The Fuzzy Dwarf Lionfish is both durable and very unique…their short fuzzy like appendages helped with their naming. They are nocturnal by nature, which is why they are commonly found hiding when they are housed in brightly lit aquariums. Be sure to provide an environment that has ample hiding spaces to help reduce stress. The Fuzzy Dwarf is considered to be one of the least aggressive out of the lionfish family, so should be kept with less aggressive tank mates. On the flip side of that, make sure tankmates aren’t too small, as Lions will eat any fish, shrimp or crab that can fit in their mouth.
