We recently added the Red Panda to our catalog in Aquatropic. This barb is an excellent fish for beginner hobbyist's because it is a hardy, peaceful and a schooling fish. In its natural habitat, the Red Panda Barb is found in the shallow waters of rivers in South India where they swim schools and hide around the river plants and sand. Try providing an environment with peaceful tank mates and stronger water flow that would mimic their natural river environment. They will be smaller fish when you receive them but can grow up to 5.5 inches. Lastly, the Red Panda requires a varied diet of high quality pellet foods and flakes.
