Red Velvet Cauliflower Swordtail

The Red Velvet Cauliflower Swordtail is a vibrant variant that is new to Aquatropic. Swordtails are active swimmers and require ample space to swim freely. A tank size of at least 20 gallons is recommended for a small group of swordtails. Provide plenty of plants, driftwood, and hiding spots to offer them security. The males will have an extension on their caudal fin that resembles a sword (hence the name). Male swordtails can be territorial and may exhibit aggression towards each other, especially if kept in small groups or in a tank with limited space. Ensure there are plenty of hiding places and visual barriers to reduce aggression among males.
