Saw Knifefish

Saw Knifefish is not as commonly seen in the freshwater aquarium trade. They are found in the basins of Peru where they camouflage with piles of leaves. They are nocturnal feeders, so they will do best if you feed a variety of frozen foods with the lights off in the aquarium. This Knifefish prefers an aquarium with a sandy substrate, so they can pick through it for food.
