TMC's New AquaRay MultiControl 8 Now Available!
Along with our recent delivery of the new Aquabeam 1500 XG Ultima units came the new AquaRay MultiControl 8 LED lighting controllers. This unit is the answer that many hobbyists are looking for who are wanting to link their multiple AquaRay fixtures in one single controller with a single power cord. This new unit makes it easy to have complete control over your aquarium lighting and create advanced schemes with the touch of a button.
With eight sockets, the user is able to plug in and combine their AquaBeam/GroBeam 500's/1000's or AquaBeam 1500 XG's with one controller. The MultiControl has its 8 inputs separated into two channels. Each channel can have its own customized lighting schedule. Channel 1 contains outputs 1-6, while channel 2 contains outputs 7 & 8 which were designed to allow fewer lights to control the lower light phases (sunrise and moonlight) as well as peak intensity (full sunlight).
Like the Aquaray Power Control, the MultiControl 8 has a built-in storm-function. Studies have documented how lighting storms, when timed with a water change, can often induce breeding behaviors in certain marine fish species. This mode is initiated manually and initiates a lighting storm which has a duration of 30 minutes before resuming back to its normal program.
With the easy to use controls, unique lighting programs, ability to combine a variety of already available lamps, and the eight individual sockets for precise lighting arrangements, the MultiControl 8 is a pivotal and very welcome accessory in the current TMC lineup of AquaRay LED lighting.

- Channel one controls output 1-6
- Channel two controls output 7-8 (designed for producing low-light phases such as sunrise, sunset, and moonlight )
