Zebra Cobalt Blue (Pseudotropheus zebra)

The Zebra Cobalt Blue (Pseudotropheus zebra) is one of the several Malawi cichlids we currently have in stock. We recommend this elegant cichlid to hobbyists with some experience for it is a semi-aggressive fish. Due to its temperament and size, the Zebra Cobalt Blue needs plenty of room to swim. So, make sure to provide it with a large tank of 55 gallons or larger. The Zebra Cobalt blue likes spend time burrowing and seeking refuge from the light. Thus, include a sandy substrate bottom to the tank along with several pieces of drift wood to keep it happy. To maintain in optimal health feed it dry pellets.
