Green Branching Octopus Coral

Euphyllia Corals should be added to well established aquariums with moderate water flow and lighting. However, if acclimated slowly Euphyllia Corals can tolerate higher lighting but not higher water flow. Generally found near shallow turbid areas where they may be protected from high water flow. Euphyllia Corals receive the majority of their nutrients from photosynthesis, additional feedings of planktonic foods will benefit their health. Euphyllia Corals do not tolerate copper medications. Euphyllia Corals are great for beginner hobbyists as they are easy to care for and reef safe. However they do have long sweeper tentacles care should be taken when placing the Euphyllia Coral in the aquarium as they may sting other corals. Corals will benefit from the addition of Calcium, Strontium, Iodine, Magnesium and Trace Elements.

Green Branching Octopus Corals may also be known as the Octospawn Corals. Commonly seen in the aquarium trade. The Green Branching Octopus Corals are generally quite beautiful with a range of colors. However, the Green Branching Octopus Coral will have varying hues of beautiful gold color. Green Branching Octopus Coral colonies will vary greatly in size, they have long fleshy polyps with long sweeper tentacles.
