Fuzzy Carrot Coral

Found mainly in the Indo-Pacific inside caves and under ledges attached to rock . Minabea are considered moderately challenging to care for and will require low lighting and moderate water flow. Minabea are non-photosynthetic and will require feedings multiple times weekly. Minabea corals generally have a low tolerance to copper. It is important to avoid exposing them to copper-based medications or copper-containing materials in the aquarium, as it can be harmful to their health. Corals will benefit from the addition of Calcium, Strontium, Iodine, Magnesium and Trace Elements.
Minabea Corals are also known as Fuzzy Carrot Corals. Uncommonly seen in the aquarium trade. The Minabea Corals are quite beautiful orange color with white polyps. Minabea Corals will vary greatly in size and formation.
