Blue Tip Green Parilis Acropora Coral
(Acropora parilis)
Acropora Corals should be added to well established aquariums with most requiring strong water flow and lighting. Generally found near lagoons and the slopes of reefs. Acropora Corals receive the majority of their nutrients from photosynthesis however, the addition of calcium, strontium, iodine, magnesium, trace elements and feedings of planktonic foods will benefit their health. Acropora Corals are a beautiful addition to the aquarium. However most do require a bit more care but are peaceful and reef safe.
Parilis Acropora Corals are a branching Acropora Coral due to their growth form. They are not commonly seen in the aquarium trade however cultured species are more common. These Acropora Corals are quite beautiful with a range of colors. Most commonly seen with an overall brown or blue color. Parilis Acropora Corals will vary greatly in size and formation.
