Turbinaria Corals should be added to well established aquariums with moderate water flow and lighting. Generally found in the in tropical coral reef environments throughout the Indo-Pacific region, including the Red Sea, Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. Turbinaria Corals receive the majority of their nutrients from photosynthesis, additional feedings of planktonic foods will benefit their health. While some species may tolerate low levels of copper, it is generally advisable to avoid exposing them to elevated copper concentrations as it can be harmful to their health. The ease of care for Turbinaria corals can vary depending on the species. Turbinaria Corals may also be known as Cup, Chalice or Turban Corals. Commonly seen in the aquarium trade. The Turbinaria Corals are generally quite beautiful with a range of colors. However, the Turbinaria Coral will have varying hues of tan, yellow or green. Turbinaria Coral colonies will vary greatly in size.
