Pseudanthias Anthias are reef safe, provide a diet of meaty enriched foods. Always keep well fed with multiple feedings per day. Anthias do best in groups or harems and prefer to swim mid level in the aquarium. Anthias are hermaphroditic meaning they may have both sex organs at some point in their lives. The Randall's Anthias is also known as the Randall's Fairy Basslet. This intensly colored Anthias is sporadically seen in the aquarium trade. Colors may vary depending upon collection areas however males are mostly a pink red color with pelvic fins trimmed in red. Females are mostly the same color although less intense, they lack the red trim on the fins and have a bit of yellow on their snouts. Randall's Anthias can grow to 3".
