Queensland Combtooth Blenny

Ecsenius Blennies are sometimes referred to as Clown Blennies. Blennies should be added to well established aquariums. Rock work should be provided for perching, hiding and grazing. Ecsenius Blennies are considered to be easy and peaceful however, can become aggressive to other fish resembling their shape. If sufficient algae is not present supplement with algae based foods and algae matter. Males tend to be larger than females. Most Blennies lack or have very small swim bladders. Be sure to provide an aquarium with a tight fitting lid as Blennies may jump.
The Queensland Combtooth Blenny is also known as the Many Toothed Blenny. Occasionally seen in the aquarium trade. Queensland Combtooth Blennies have an overall gray coloration with horizonatal rows of white spots and a black stripe running through its eyes. Queensland Combtooth Blennies can grow to 3".
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 30 gallons or larger for this species.
