Twinspot Bimaculatus Blenny

Ecsenius Blennies are sometimes referred to as Clown Blennies. Blennies should be added to well established aquariums. Rock work should be provided for perching, hiding and grazing. Ecsenius Blennies are considered to be easy and peaceful however, can become aggressive to other fish resembling their shape. If sufficient algae is not present supplement with algae based foods and algae matter. Males tend to be larger than females. Most Blennies lack or have very small swim bladders. Be sure to provide an aquarium with a tight fitting lid as Blennies may jump.
The Twinspot Bimaculatus Blenny is also known as the Two-Spot Blenny. Sporadically seen in the aquarium trade. Twinspot Bimaculatus Blennies are a pale brown color with 2 small spots or bars on the middle of its body. Twinspot Bimaculatus Blenny can grow to 2".
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 30 gallons or larger for this species.
