Delicate Blenny
(Glyptoparus delicatulus)
Glyptoparus Blennies should be added to well established aquariums. Provide plenty of rockwork with caves and crevices to hide or rest when needed. Glyptoparus Blennies can be territorial and aggressive. Glyptoparus Blennies are not reef safe as they may disturb invertebrates. Provide a diet rich in meaty foods and algae based foods several times daily. Most Blennies lack or have very small swim bladders. Be sure to provide an aquarium with a tight fitting lid as Blennies may jump.
The Delicate Blenny is also known as the Delicate Combtooth Blenny. Occasionally seen in the aquarium trade. Delicate Blennies are quite interesting with their multiple brown and white spots with an overall cream to tan body coloration. Delicate Blenny can grow to almost 2".
