Breast Spot Blenny

Salarias Blennies should be added to well established aquariums with rock work for perching, hiding and grazing. They can be a bit aggressive and territorial towards their own kind. Known for their vovarious appetite for algae and will graze continuously, if ample algae is not available supplement with algae based foods. Salarias Blennies are often found in rocky reefs and logoons and rubble area. Salarias Blennies like to inhabit empty barnacle shells and mollusk tubes. Most Blennies lack or have very small swim bladders. Be sure to provide an aquarium with a tight fitting lid as Blennies may jump.
The Breast Spot Blenny is also known as the Blue Spot Blenny. Not commonly seen in the aquarium trade. Breast Spot Blennies have a yellow to pink breast with dusky pink spots along the dorsal fin. Breast Spot Blennies can grow to 4".
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 30 gallons or larger for this species.
