Zoramia Cardinalfish should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of room to swim. Plenty of rock work with caves and ledges should be provided for grazing and hiding. Most Zoramia Cardinalfish are peaceful schooling fish but carefully research each species before adding to your aquarium. A diverse diet of enriched meaty foods should be provided for continued good health. Most Zoramia Cardinalfish are active at night and rest during the day. Cardinalfish are mouth brooders research each species to ensure the appropriate care is given. They are slow, methodical swimmers house with other peaceful tank mates.
The Longspine Cardinalfish is also known as the Threadfin Cardinalfish. Commonly seen in the aquarium trade. Longspine Cardinalfish are quite beautiful with iridescent blue on its belly, around its eys and often on its fins against a transparent to silver colored body. Longspine Cardinalfish can grow to 3".
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 30 gallons or larger for this species.
