Multi Barred Cardinalfish

Nectamia Cardinalfish should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of room to swim. Plenty of rock work with caves and ledges should be provided for grazing and hiding. Most Nectamia Cardinalfish are peaceful schooling fish but carefully research each species before adding to your aquarium. A diverse diet of enriched meaty foods should be provided for continued good health. Most Nectamia Cardinalfish are active at night and rest during the day. Some Cardinalfish are mouth brooders research each species to ensure the appropriate care is given. They are slow methodical swimmers house with other peaceful tank mates.

The Multi Barred Cardinalfish are not often seen in the aquarium trade. Multi Barred Cardinalfish are mainly a silver color with many light yellow colored stripes running vertically, a large black stripe on the caudal peduncle and yellow tipped fins. Multi Barred Cardinalfish can grow to 3".

We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 30 gallons or larger for this species.
