Broadstriped Cardinalfish

Ostorhinchus Cardinalfish should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of room to swim. Plenty of rock work with caves and ledges should be provided for grazing and hiding. Most Ostorhinchus Cardinalfish are peaceful schooling fish but carefully research each species before adding to your aquarium. A diverse diet of enriched meaty foods should be provided for continued good health. Most Ostorhinchus Cardinalfish are active at night and rest during the day. Some Cardinalfish are mouth brooders research each species to ensure the appropriate care is given. They are slow methodical swimmers house with other peaceful tank mates.
The Broadstriped Cardinalfish is also known as the Narrow Striped Cardinalfish. Uncommonly seen in the aquarium trade. Broadstriped are an overall white color with 5 brass to a dark brown colored stripes, a dark circle on its caudal peduncle, with light pink to red colored fins. Broadstriped Cardinalfish can grow to a little over 4".
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 30 gallons or larger for this species.
