(Amphiprion biaculeatus)
The Thunder Maroon Clownfish is beautifully unique variation of the Maroon Clownfish that was created by selectively breeding the Lightning Maroon Clownfish with a considerable amount of white coloration over generations forming the Thunder Maroon Clownfish. This Captive Bred Clownfish variety is occasionally seen in the aquarium trade. Thunder Maroon Clownfish are overall white color, maroon fins and face. The white will remain white as the fish matures. The female Lightning Maroon Clownfish can grow to almost 6" with males only reaching about 3".
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 30 gallons or larger for this species.
