Spiny Chromis
(Acanthochromis polyacanthus)
Acanthochromis should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of room to swim. Chromis are among some of the most popular fish seen in aquariums. Often some of the first fish added to aquariums due to their hardiness, disease resistant, lively nature and are known to consume most foods offered. A diet rich in meaty and plant based foods including Spirulina should be provided several times daily. Acanthochromis are generally peaceful, reef safe and make a great addition to aquariums. Color differences have been seen among juveniles and adults.
