Redbelly Yellowtail Fusilier

Fusiliers are constant grazers and require feeding at least six times daily. Add to well established aquariums that very large open swim areas. Rockwork with caves, cracks and crevices should also be provided for hiding and resting. Fusilers are fast moving peaceful fish and should not be housed with slower moving or aggressive fish. Provide an enriched diet of meaty prepared foods. Fusiliers are schooling fish and are best housed in small groups.
Redbelly Yellowtail Fusilier are also sometimes known as the Yellowtail, Red Bellied or Robust Fusilier. Not often seen in the aquarium trade. Redbelly Yellowtail Fusilier are mainly a gray to blue color highlighted with yellow, a white or light pink belly. Redbelly Yellowtail Fusilier can grow to almost 24".
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 250 gallons or larger for this species.
