Banan Fusiler
(Pterocaesio pisang)
Fusiliers are constant grazers and require feeding at least six times daily. Add to well established aquariums that very large open swim areas. Rockwork with caves, cracks and crevices should also be provided for hiding and resting. Fusilers are fast moving peaceful fish and should not be housed with slower moving or aggressive fish. Provide an enriched diet of meaty prepared foods. Fusiliers are schooling fish and are best housed in small groups.
Banan Fusilier are also sometimes known as the Ruddy Fusilier. Not often seen in the aquarium trade. The Banan Fusilier are mainly a grey to blue color fading to pink on its belly, a yellow snout and upper eye and tips of the caudal fin are a dark red. Banan Fusilier can grow to a little over 8".
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 75 gallons or larger for this species.
