Dark Banded Fusiler

Fusiliers are constant grazers and require feeding at least six times daily. Add to well established aquariums that very large open swim areas. Rockwork with caves, cracks and crevices should also be provided for hiding and resting. Fusilers are fast moving peaceful fish and should not be housed with slower moving or aggressive fish. Provide an enriched diet of meaty prepared foods. Fusiliers are schooling fish and are best housed in small groups.
Dark Banded Fusilier are also sometimes known as the Neon, Blue Dash, Bluestreak or Tricoulered Fusilier. Not often seen in the aquarium trade. The Dark Banded Fusilier is a blue green color, dark blue stripe mid body, pearlescent below the stripe onto its belly which is sometimes seen as a red color at night. Dark Banded Fusilier can grow to a little over 8".
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 75 gallons or larger for this species.
