Beautiful Cheek Shrimp Goby

Amblyeleotris Gobies are also known as shrimp Gobies and develop a symbiotic relationship with alpheid shrimp. The shrimp provide a home used by both the shrimp and Goby, while the Goby acts as a lookout for predators. Shrimp Gobies are hardy and make great additions to a reef aquarium. Amblyeleotris Gobies should be added to aquariums with a deep sand bed for burrowing. Ample rockwork for grazing and hiding should be provided along with a diet of marine meaty foods multiple times daily. Shrimp Gobies will also scavenge through the sand for food. Gobies are good jumpers be sure to provide an aquarium with a tight fitting lid.

Beautiful Cheek Shrimp Goby are also sometimes known as the Callopareia Goby. Occasionally seen in the aquarium trade. The Beautiful Cheek Shrimp Goby mainly a silver colored goby with dark body bands, light blue stripes on its dorsal fin and blue spots on its caudal fin.
