Caracanthus Gobies should be added to well established aquariums with rockwork, cracks, crevices and caves for hiding as they are shy and cryptic fish. Caracanthus Gobies are found among SPS corals, where they feed on coral mucous. Gobies are easy, hardy and peaceful but may become aggressive towards similar species. Caracanthus Gobies have venomous spines, avoid handling. Avoid nets as they may become entangled. Feed a diet rich in meaty foods multiple times daily. Although considered reef safe they may pick at small shrimp. Gobies are jumpers, provide an aquarium with a tight fitting lid.
