Masked Goby
(Coryphopterus personatus)
Coryphopterus Gobies should be added to aquariums with a deep sand bed for burrowing. Ample rockwork for grazing and hiding should be provided along with a diet of marine meaty foods multiple times daily. Gobies will also scavenge through the sand for food. House with other peaceful tank mates. Gobies may jump provide an aquarium with a tight fitting lid. Although quite peaceful Coryphopterus Gobies should be kept singly or as a mated pair.
Masked Goby are also sometimes known as Spotted Goby. Not often found in the aquarium trade. Masked Goby are quite lovely with an overall red color, white horizontal separating stripes running from its snout to its caudal peduncle. Masked Goby can grow to a little over 2".
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 10 gallons or larger for this species.
