Colon Goby
(Coryphopterus dicrus)
Coryphopterus Gobies should be added to aquariums with a deep sand bed for burrowing. Ample rockwork for grazing and hiding should be provided along with a diet of marine meaty foods multiple times daily. Gobies will also scavenge through the sand for food. House with other peaceful tank mates. Gobies may jump provide an aquarium with a tight fitting lid. Although quite peaceful Coryphopterus Gobies should be kept singly or as a mated pair.
Colon Goby are also sometimes known as Colon Sand Goby. Not often found in the aquarium trade. Colon Goby are quite lovely with an overall white color highlighted with two dark spots, small brown spots, small blue green specks and horizontal black lines on its head. Colon Goby can grow to almost 2".
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 10 gallons or larger for this species.
