Neon Red Pygmy Goby

Eviota Gobies are small, hardy, peaceful and active fish that are perfect for nano aquariums. Provide an aquarium with plenty of rockwork, caves, cracks and crevices for hiding if feeling threatenedd. Eviota Gobies should be added to aquariums with a sand bed in order to scavenge for benthic invertebrates. Ensure Eviota Gobies have a low water flow. Provide a diet rich in meaty prepared foods fed multiple times daily. If refusing to eat meaty prepared foods try small live enriched shrimp to entice a feeding response. House with other small, peaceful tank mates. Eviota Gobies do best if housed singly or in pairs but should be added at the same time. Gobies are jumpers provide an aquarium with a tight fitting lid.
Neon Red Pygmy Goby are also sometimes known as Black Belly Pygmy Goby. Occasionally seen in the aquarium trade. Neon Red Pygmy Gobys are mainly murky colored with horizontal red stripes, gold rimmed eyes and white blotch on its nose. Neon Red Pygmy Goby can grow to a little over 1".
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 20 gallons or larger for this species.
