White Cap Goby w/Shrimp
(Lotilia graciliosa w/Alpheus sp.)
Lotilia Gobies should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of rockwork, caves, cracks and crevices. White Cap Gobies are commensal with pistol shrimp and need a deep sand bed for burrowing. Lotilia Gobies are quite peaceful and should be housed with other peaceful Gobies. Although considered reef safe Lotilia Gobies consume small benthic invertebrates. Provide a diet rich in meaty foods multiple times daily. Provide a tight fitting lid as Gobies may jump.
White Cap Goby are also sometimes known as the White Cap Shrimp Goby. Rarely seen in the aquarium trade. White Cap Gobies are mainly black or a dark brown color with white on the top of the fish giving it its common name. White Cap Goby can grow to almost 2".
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 20 gallons or larger for this species.
