Blue Barred Ribbon Goby

Add Oxymetopon Gobies to aquariums with plenty of rockwork, caves, cracks and crevices for hiding. Provide a sandy and rock rubble substrate for theses Gobies as they spend most of their time on the bottom of the aquarium. Oxymetopon Gobies are small, peaceful but active Gobies and will make a great addition to reef or fish only aquariums. A diet rich in meaty prepared foods fed twice daily. House with other peaceful tank mates. Oxymetopon Gobies do better when housed singly or in pairs but can become aggressive towards other Gobies. Gobies are jumpers provide an aquarium with a tight fitting lid.
Blue Barred Ribbon Goby are also sometimes known simply as the Ribbon Goby. Rarely seen in the aquarium trade. Blue Barred Ribbon Gobies are quite lovely having a mainly blue body with blue stripes and orange to tan undertones mainly on its belly. Blue Barred Ribbon Gobies can grow to almost 5".
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 50 gallons or larger for this species.
