Panamanian Green Banded Goby

Tigrigobius Gobies should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of room to swim. Plenty of rock work with caves, crevices and a deep sand bed should be provided for hiding and sleeping. Tigrigobius Gobies are hermaphrodites meaning they are born female and at some point may turn into a male. A diet rich in meaty based foods should be provided. Tigrigobius Gobies color may fade if their diet is not adequate. To entice eating try feeding enriched live Brine shrimp. Most Gobies are shy peaceful fish and should be housed with similar peaceful fish. Gobies may jump provide an aquarium with a tight fitting lid. Tigrigobius Gobies are known to live close to Sea Urchins most likely for protection.
Panamanian Green Banded Goby are also sometimes known simply as the Panamanian Goby. Not often seen in the aquarium trade. Panamanian Green Banded Gobies are a small green goby, with vertical yellow stripes and red streaks. Panamanian Green Banded Gobies can grow to almost 2".
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 10 gallons or larger for this species.
