Valenciennea Gobies are often known as Sleeper Gobies and should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of room to swim. Plenty of rock work, cracks, crevices, caves with a sand bed should be provided for hiding. Valencienna are small, easy to maintain and fit well in most reef aquariums. They are a good sand sifter and will pick up mouths of sand looking for small invertebrates and organic matter. A diet of meaty and algae based foods should be provided multiple times daily. Feed adult, fortified Brine, Glass/Grass shrimp and black worms if having difficulty enticing a feeding response. Valenciennea Gobies tend to be shy and peaceful house with other peaceful tank mates. In the wild Valenciennea Gobies mate for life if possible house as a mated pair. Provide a tight fitting aquarium as Gobies may jump.
Tiger Wardi Watchman Goby are also sometimes known as the Ward's Sleeper or Tiger Sleeper Goby. Commonly seen in the aquarium trade. Tiger Wardi Watchman Gobies are an overall white color, vertical light brown stripes, white trimmed black spot on its dorsal fin and curved blue stripes below its eyes. Tiger Wardi Watchman Gobies can grow to a little over 6".
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 30 gallons or larger for this species.
