Yellow Lined Shrimp Goby

Vanderhorstia Gobies should be added to well established aquariums. Plenty of stable rock work, cracks, crevices, caves should be provided for hiding. Vanderhorstia Gobies are small and fit well in most reef aquariums. A diet of meaty and algae based foods should be provided twice daily. They are very timid and should be housed with other peaceful tank mates. Vanderhorstia Gobies prefer to live singly or in pairs as they may become aggressive to other Goby species. Provide a tight fitting aquarium as Gobies may jump.
Yellow Lined Shrimp Goby are also sometimes known as the Yellowlined Dartfish They are not often seen in the aquarium trade. Yellow Lined Shrimp Goby a small slender gray to silver fish with yellow lines and spots. The Yellow Lined Shrimp Fish can grow up to 10 inches in length.
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 30 gallons or larger for this species.
