Cristiceps Scorpionfish should be added to aquariums with plenty of rockwork, caves, cracks, crevices and ledges for hiding. Scorpionfish are highly secretive, bottom dwelling fish that can camouflage themselves while waiting for prey to pass by. Scorpionfish are also slow moving fish requiring low water flow. Most Scorpionfish are highly poisonous care should be taken when placing hands in the aquarium. Provide a diet rich in meaty foods 3 to 4 times a week as they have a slow metabolism.
