Dragon Sea Moth
(Eurypegasus draconis)
Provide a very large aquarium with plenty of bottom space for this bottom dwelling fish to reside. Sea Moths will require live foods only consumed from the bottom of the aquarium. Sea Moth should be housed with other slow moving peaceful fish that will not out compete them for food. They must have a diet of live enriched Brine Shrimp, or Copepods fed five to ten times daily. This fish is generally considered best left in the wild as they may not ship well and require constant live foods. Careful thought and consideration will need to be done before adding this fish to your aquarium.
Dragon Sea Moth are also sometimes known as Short Dragonfish. Rarely ever seen in the aquarium trade. Dragon Sea Moth generally are a mottled brown color. Dragon Sea Moth can grow to a little over 3".
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 30 gallons or larger for this species.
