Spotted Wobbegong Shark

Orectolobus Sharks should only be added to very large aquariums with a deep fine sand bed. Sharks will grow very large careful thought and consideration will need to be done before adding to home aquariums. Spotted Wobbegong Shark are also sometimes known as the a Carpet, Common Carpet or Tassel Shark. They are not often seen in the aquarium trade. They are green, yellow or brown with distinctive o-shaped spots over its entire body. The Spotted Wobbegong can grow up to 3.5 feet in length.

We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 500 gallons or larger for this species.
