Blonde Naso Tang w/Streamer

Naso Tangs also known as Surgeonfish or Unicornfish. Care will need to be taken when handling Naso Tangs as they have very sharp spines or scalpels at the base of their tails, some species will also have a unicorn like appendage on their head, avoid using nets when handling. Naso Tangs should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of open room to swim. Plenty of rock work should be provided for grazing and hiding. Tank size should also be considered before purchasing as the adult Naso Tangs can become quite large. A diet of algae based foods along with Tang preperations should be provided.
The Blonde Naso Tang are also known as the Blonde Naso Surgeonfish. Commonly seen in the aquarium trade. The Blonde Naso Tangs are quite lovely with a adult males having long filaments. They have a light gray to silver body color outlined with yellow trim on the top of its dorsal and belly, white tail with black trim and yellow caudal peduncle. They can grow to a little over 17".
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 180 gallons or larger for this species.
