Lined Tamarin Wrasse
(Anampses lineatus)
The Lined Tamarin Wrasse are also known simply as the Lined Wrasse. Uncommonly seen in the aquarium trade. Adults and juvenile Lined Tamarin Wrasse will have different colorations. Adult Lined Tamarin Wrasse have an orange to brown body color with white dots on their face and horizontal stripes on their body. The male will have a yellow band at the base of the tail and the females will be white. Juveniles will have a black body with irregular white or yellow spots all over its body, white dorsal and white band around the front of its body. Lined Tamarin Wrasse can grow up to 5".
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 120 gallons or larger for this species.
