Red Flower Strawberry Anemone

Actinia Anemone should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of lighting a sandy or muddy bottom in which to bury its foot. Anemones are capable of movement using their foot to the best suitable place in the aquarium. Provide a diet rich in small pieces of hand fed meaty foods it will also require high lighting to feed the symbiotic zooxanthellae algae within its body known as photosynthesis. Invertebrates do not tolerate copper medications.
The Red Flower Strawberry Anemone is also known as the Waratah or Cherry Anemone. Red Flower Strawberry Anemones are quite hardy and have been found in areas of cooler and warmer temperatures than other anemone's. Not commonly seen in the aquarium trade. Red Flower Strawberry Anemones coloration usually will depend on the amount of light it receives. Anemones that receive more light are generally a bright crimson red, Anemones that do not receive as much light are usually reddish brown color. Red Flower Strawberry Anemone can grow to almost 1.5".
