Heteractis Anemone should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of lighting a thick sandy, muddy or rubble bottom in which to bury its foot. Anemones are capable of movement using their foot to the best suitable place in the aquarium. Heteractis Anemones usually host A. clarkii, A. tricinctus, A. chrysopterus, A. chrysogaster, A. akindynos, and A. bicinctus, A. perideraion, A. polymnus, A. percula, A. ephippium, A. latezonatus, A. leucokranos, A. omanenisi, A. melonopus and A. sandaracinos. Provide a diet rich in small pieces of hand fed meaty foods it will also require high lighting to feed the symbiotic zooxanthellae algae within its body known as photosynthesis. Invertebrates do not tolerate copper medications.
The Colored Blue Tip Sebae Anemone is also known as the Leathery Sea Anemone or Seabae Anemone. Somewhat commonly seen in the aquarium trade. Colored Blue Tip Sebae Anemones are often seen in different colors such as green, brown, creamy or purple colors however this Anemone will have richer colors along with blue tips. Colored Blue Tip Sebae Anemone can grow to almost 12".
