Pagurus Snail should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of rockwork for grazing. If insufficient algae be sure to provide dried algae or vegetable based pellets. Invertebrates do not tolerate copper medications and high nitrate levels. Pagurus Snails are great for beginner hobbyists as they are easy to care for, peaceful and reef safe.

Pagurus Crabs are also sometimes known as Fancy Shell Hermit Crabs. They are sometimes seen in the aquarium trade. Hermit crabs of the Pagurus genus are known for their habit of using empty gastropod shells for protection. There are numerous species within the Pagurus genus, and they can vary in size, color, and distribution.
